This Manifestation Block Might Be Holding You Back

Manifestation: A word that many people throw around, especially lately. If you Google “Manifestation,” you will find that many people are sharing tips and tools on how to do IT.

The thing is, manifestation is not an action. You do not actually do anything physically to receive it. Manifestation is an experience and in most part, a journey

So let’s talk about the journey and how you may have a block or two that is holding you back from receiving your ideal manifestation.

Transformative COURSES & WORKSHOPS that make integrating peaceful living, health and wellness easy, fun and affordable.

#1. Creating a Conclusion

When we ask for what we want, and we immediately turn to the method of what we need to do to get the thing, person, or money we want to receive, we limit ourselves from possibility. Possibility gives us the chance for our manifestation desire to show up almost magically.

For example, if you desire a new relationship and you concentrate on who it has to be — or how they have to be — you are missing out on the possibility of someone showing up for you who is better than you actually imagine. Take away the need to know how it will turn out and be open to possibilities.  When we release the need to know or create conclusions of how it will be when our manifestation shows up, we may experience the opportunity of receiving something even better.

I remember one time when I was attempting to manifest a water view location that I can go to at any time without having to ask someone else. While on the journey to receive this, I could have easily thought to myself that, in order to receive it, I would need to buy a new home on the water. Creating the conclusion that this is the only way to receive what I was asking for. However, because I let go of the way it needed to show up for me, I received it in an unexpected and delightful way, in the form of a new location for my YogaSpa. I delight in the opportunity to enjoy this view with others and doing what I love.

#2. Allowing Other People’s Opinions To Matter More Than Your Own.

It is natural to want to share our desires with others with hopes that they too will be just as enthusiastic as we are about it. What I have personally experienced is that although this can indeed happen, sometimes we get people who just can not possibly see what we want to receive because they do not believe it is possible for themselves.

Sometimes our friends or family will advise us that what we wish to receive in life is “simply not possible” or to “have a fall back plan,” as they can not possibly envision themselves doing or receiving what you desire. This is simply a side effect of the fact that they are coming from their own personal experiences and beliefs. This has nothing to do with you or your actual abilities to do or receive something.

An example of this in my personal life has shown up many times with conversations between my husband and myself. I desire to be a high-paid actress and I truly enjoy being in front of the camera or on stage. Not to toot my own horn, but I am actually pretty good at it.  When I had my third speaking engagement, I asked him to come along and film it for me.

He was nervous for me because getting on stage, in his mind, was something he would never do. It was territory he was not used to and he had yet to actually see me in action. The conversation we had after my time on stage for the event was that he was blown away with my performance and that he was petrified for me as I got on stage. He really feared I would mess up, forget what I had to say, or completely choke on stage. I assured him firstly that I was thankful he didn’t share this information before I went up to speak, but also that I was glad he shared that I surprised him.

You see, he was coming from his own perspective which was that of fear of being on stage and public speaking.  I personally thrive in this environment, I love it so much! If I had asked for his advice prior to getting on stage, he may have only had his own perspective to share which may have been, “I don’t know you are doing this. Why would you want to talk in front of all of these people?”

If you desire to share with someone what you want to manifest, whether it is an action or a thing, remember to first look at what is true for you.  You know that it is on its way to you and with this strong knowledge, when you ask someone else what they might think about it and they come back with a fear based answer, it is most likely coming from their personal perspective of the action or thing.

We learn the art of trust while we work with manifestation. The more we trust and believe for ourselves, the less likely we will be sidetracked by someone’s opinion.

Stay true to your desire and if it feels right and real to you, it may very well be true and right for you.

If you feel stuck on your manifesting journey, enroll in my manifestation mini-course and learn how to actual avoid these two blocks: MINI COURSE.
