Women have an innate and primal need to connect with each other. Our ancient ancestor mothers supported their communities as healers, teachers, cultivators, nurturers, oracles, midwives and doulas, hunters and warriors. As their sisters birthed, women caught and celebrated the children born into their community, mothered and supported their people, rejoiced in love found, and mourned together as they dressed the dead.
Our foremothers were holders of wisdom, of a deep awareness and respect for the world around them, and a reverence for the Mother of everything.

We find evidence of worship of a Divine Feminine in caves and in fields, carved into and of stone and painted on walls. Her names have been whispered, sung and written.
We live in a world that offers the evidence that her names and images and stories were suppressed, abused, forgotten. The Patriarchy did its best to wipe Her out of holy books, or to change Her into lesser beings. She has been made into saints, and She has been made into demons.

And yet, the memory and honor and worship of the Divine Feminine has never completely disappeared. Some of us kept the mysteries of our foremothers, and others have created rituals and rites to honor our new and awakened understandings of the Great Mother. We feel Her in our bones, our Souls, and She is rising.
We have been called Bitch, Whore, Nasty Women, Sluts, and Eve’s Daughters. We have been abused, hurt beyond measure, and yet – we have not forgotten who we truly are.
We are Witches, Priestesses, Heretics, Mystics, Esoterics. We are still midwives and mothers and teachers and leaders and warriors.
It is time to rise in our remembering and our strength, Sisters.
Rise to the magic inside, that spark that you’ve held close all your life, knowing that there was something special about you; you hadn’t lost the connection. Rise to your Soul’s call to raise your face to the Moon and Sun, to revel in the breeze in your hair, the heat of Summer on your skin, the womb-like embrace of water, and the feel of grass and dirt beneath your bare feet.
Rise to serve at altars, to dance with Sisters in celebration, to bring change for yourself and your loved ones and the world through your Will and your connection to the magic that is the zing of Her power in your veins. Rise to revolution of thought and the fall of failed paradigms.
I am here to teach you, mentor you, channel Source for you, offer healing to you, and to remind you, always, that you are a daughter of the Divine Feminine.
