FUN AND CREATIVE WAYS TO WEAR SCARVES

Scarves for Days…

No matter the weather in your area, one thing is for sure. Scarves are a great accessory to bring life to your look.

Whether it be a smaller square scarf tied as a neckerchief, or a big and bold blanket scarf keeping your toasty during a blustery afternoon, scarves are a beloved piece that belongs in everyone’s wardrobe.

During my #FallWardrobeChallenge on Instagram (@styledefiner), I featured a week-long scarves tutorial for all styles to wear throughout the fall. Lightweight and heavier are in focus so there’s something for every climate. Here, I’ll be highlighting my favorite scarves along with video tutorials on how to tie your favorites.

With each look, I have my LIKEtoKNOW.it posts readily available to click on so that you can shop the look!

Light and oh so pretty…

I love a classic square scarf to add a happy accessory to my outfits – you can’t look at a neckerchief and not how cute it looks sitting there so properly!

I added this Balenciaga square scarf to brighten my monotone denim outfit.

Flirty Oversized Fun…

Lightweight larger scarves are SO versatile! They can be swathed around your neck but can also be tied in funky ways, too.

Here’s a brightly colored oversized scarf that I tied in the traditional sense – a loop and your ready to go!

This way of tying gives this funky, vegan leather trench some pizazz since I’ve decided to play down the rest of the outfit with black skinny jeans and boots. The size and color give a whole new life to the look! In this tutorial clip, I show you how to make this scarf the showcase. Full tutorial – click here!

But that’s not all you can do! In this second look, I use knots to create a great streamline down the center of my outfit. Another bright and fun scarf that adds so much to a basic sweater.

Sooooo Warm and Cozy…

And finally – the end all be all of cold weather scarves! The Blanket Scarf is all over Pinterest as THE Boho chic look of the century! I grabbed one of my many blanket scarves to show you the basic wrap….
