The more I think, the less I know…
It’s the end of Spring, which can only mean one thing: we’re discussing the Mutable Air Element. To really Nurture yourself with Nature, you must first grasp what the words represent and how the patterns in Nature also occur inside you. Mutable Air … What does this mean? To be mutable implies to be changeable, malleable, and adaptable. In astrology, the Air Element symbolizes our breath, rationality, and the way we think and communicate. Okay… but what does that entail for you?
Stuck in the cycle of busy hoping that one day there will be time for your and what you want?
You are not alone. PEACEFUL LIVING COACHING is here to support you!
Let us begin with what we do know. The four elements of Fire , Earth , Air , and Water may be seen influencing the four seasons of Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. You can see all of these elements coexisting when you look at your local weather channel. Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable are the three modes which represent the beginning, middle, and end of each season. The elements cannot be expressed chronologically; the elemental pattern, like the four-season cycle, never comes to an end. Flowing from one season to the next, building and creating our whole selves. You’ll eventually get a grasp of how all of the parts fit together. Between May 21st and June 20th, the Element of Mutable Air emerges, bringing longer, warmer, sunnier days. There is a buzz in the Air , which can only mean one thing: summer is on its way.
Everything has a beginning, middle, and end. And right now, we’re talking about the end of Spring. Summer is, without a doubt, right around the corner. But what comes after that logic? In this blog, I’d want to talk about the power of thought and choice. Some of you may find it easier said than done when I propose that our thoughts are not the ultimate destination. The Air Element does not operate in this way, despite the fact that our thinking may lead us to assume otherwise.
When you are afflicted by the Air Element, you may have difficulties understanding the significance of your physical body. This is due to the rational half of the brain taking over. The mind is a strong instrument, and it is frequently confused as being the messenger of what the heart really wants. Have you ever had one of those times when you convinced yourself that you knew something? Or even convinced yourself that you did not… You may be asking how all of this relates to self-care. What I want you to realize is that we are discussing something that is beyond our rationality. I’ve discovered that the more I think, the less I know. There is a fine line between utilizing our rational side and overthinking things. Unfortunately this can and will happen and when it does, self-sabotage may occur. To fully establish our ideas, the Air Element encourages us to stop talking and start taking tangible, practical efforts toward personal growth and development.
Consider the following: the air might be a gentle breeze on a hot summer day or it could be hurricane force gusts. The same holds true for our way of thinking. In this way, the Mutable Air Element is similar to wind. The same thing might happen to our thoughts and ideas if we don’t know how to anchor them down.
Feeling grounded and in your body may be difficult if you have too much of the Air Element or are overthinking. It’s easy to feel disoriented when you head is in the clouds. On a daily basis, you may struggle to put your ideas into action. Because of your racing thoughts, you may also have sleeplessness. Because you’re anxious, your breathing may become erratic. Daily activities might drain your energy and cause you to lose concentration. You’re irritated because you can’t seem to organize your thoughts.
When the Air Element is lacking, it might be difficult to see yourself objectively. You can feel sluggish, tired, and bored. Regardless of why you’re doing something, you may not see the point. By establishing a regular routine, you can help keep your thoughts firmly anchored in your physical body.
This can be modeled by including physical exercise into a healthy daily routine that includes being mindful of what we eat and when we consume it. This will help you become more aware of your body. The Air maintains its balance by attaching itself to the Earth; as a result, we must align our thoughts and our physical bodies. keep touch with our bodies. If you do not eat, for example, this hole in your stomach will interfere with how you think and may even lead us astray from what we genuinely want. Meeting our physical demands is essential and cannot be substituted.
It truly can be that simple. W we’re all utterly unique individuals. We all have our own unique way of looking at things. At the end of the day, we must be able to coexist and find a way to balance our differences. As far as I know, there is no right or wrong. There’s you, me, and us here.
