, Air , and Water . Today I want to focus on the Element of Fixed Water , or the middle of fall.

Water , in many ancient studies, symbolizes our emotions. It is the giver of life because, without it, life would cease to exist. It is the common denominator among all things living. When we are relating to emotions, most of us want them to flow freely. The result allows emotions to be in constant flow, never to become still or stuck. When I think of fixed water , I think of the waters that create our lakes, swamps, and even ice. But what gets me even more curious than the actual water is the mystery of what lies beneath the surface. Make no mistake that there is a difference between water being still as opposed to being stuck? The same can be said when relating water to our emotions.
Scorpio Season takes place between October 23rd and November 21st. Here in the Northern hemisphere, our winter is just around the corner. The air has changed from just cooling off to now having a briskness that gives you chills. There’s a sense of mystery as the leaves begin to fall to the ground. Almost as if to show us that we must learn to let go of something so that a new life can be born. Today is a time of transformation.
When we look into the still waters of life, what do we see? Our reflection. Water is emotion, and thus far, we have only dealt with our own, but this is when we begin to see ourselves in others. How are you seen within society, and how is it seen within you? It is also a season of your life when you reflect on your journey to see how far you have come. Are you willing to step into the shadow side of yourself and ask the hard questions? What lies beneath the surface? Are you happy, or are you just acting happy on a social media screen near you? Do you like what you are doing? How you’re doing it?
