The mind is more powerful than you can imagine because your thoughts have form in the quantum realm. Your emotions give those thought forms a direction to travel and an intention to fulfill. When your thoughts and feelings are repeating until they become beliefs… Then, the belief will take physical form in the body and begins to create behaviors and actions. When these beliefs are limiting or charged with repressed negative emotions, the energy gets embedded in the body. John Sarno, a medical doctor and professor in rehabilitation medicine asserts that ninety-five percent of all dis-ease have a psychological root cause. Specifically, when you hold a grudge over someone, your life is consumed with conflicts that you hold onto deeply. The lack of forgiveness can lead to disease in the body.

Our Top 5 Tips for Peaceful Living
There are three wrongs in ancient wisdom: missing the path, going overboard, and intention to harm. We have all experienced someone in our life missing a path, going overboard, or intending to harm, right? What’s important is how you react to it. Do you hold a grudge hoping to punish the offender, when in reality, you are punishing yourself? Or do you forgive them and let go of the baggage?
Baggage is the absence of light in the emotional body. It can be easy to take the hurt and put it into a black bag when someone wrongs you. Like a bag of rocks, every wrong and every grudge, you add a small stone to the bag. Until soon, the bags are so heavy they drag down into the physical body and manifest into a disease. When the human energy field and emotional body are absent of light, old patterns will get stuck until you learn and overcome them.
You have four bodies: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. And they correspond to the four elements in ancient wisdom. Physical is Earth, emotional is water, mental is air, and spiritual is fire. The emotional body of water is charged and acts like a magnet. When that water is full of black bags, negative emotions, and limiting beliefs, you will attract negative events, dark energy forms, angry people, soul-sucking jobs, and abusive partners into your life. But when the water in your emotional body is filled with light from your highest self, you will attract positive, happy, healthy events and people in your life.
I recently had a family member pass away, and as I walked into the funeral home for the services, I could feel the energy. The trapped energy inside the building was thick. It felt like you could cut the air with a knife, and I could almost hear the lost souls wandering the halls. But if we walk with a positive emotional body without baggage and have light shinning from our highest self. The light inside you will repel the trapped energy and the dark forms. And if you have heavy bags weighing you down, these dark forms will be attracted to you. Sometimes it’s not the people we encounter that give us black bags; it can be places too. The universe has a few universal laws, and one that is most important is as above, so below. If we have baggage inside of us, then there must be baggage on the outside too. These dark forms and black bags are nothing more than trapped energy. The good thing is that baggage is easy to let go of.

In ancient Hawaii, there wasn’t any baggage. They celebrated their baggage because it meant that they had a seed to eat. The rocks inside in the black bag aren’t rocks; they are seeds. When you eat the seed, there is a lesson, and growth through healing occurs. When their baggage was triggered, they were required to take care of it immediately before continuing their day. The ancient Hawaiians affirmed this practice by stating that you shouldn’t begin a new path (relationship, career, family) without first releasing your baggage. The old pattern would repeat on the new path until you found the lessons and overcame them. They believed that every time you interact with a person, thing, or place, you create an energy connection.
Everywhere you go, you are connecting your life force energy with positive or negative experiences. In our day and age, we often have too many connections, and our energy is depleted because we are constantly giving away our power to others. The ancient Hawaiians had a powerful system to release baggage and cut the energy cords that connected them to everyone around them. It’s called Ho’oponopono, and New age culture has misrepresented Ho’oponopono as just a prayer. Ho’o means to make, pono means right. There is a double pono because it means to make right above and to make right below.
Ho’oponopono is a powerful visualization, prayer, and meditation with the intention of healing and forgiving the ones that have wronged you. It’sIt’s all in your mind, and ultimately you forgive an aspect of yourself. The truth is that you can’t just say I forgive you. Please forgive me too. There must be a healing, true forgiveness on the inside, and then releasing the energy connection that binds you. What’s so interesting is most often than not. The person you are forgiving will call you in the next twenty-four hours because they can feel the energy connection being cut.
Now, where do you find the real deal Ho’oponopono process? My teacher Dr. Matt James has been blessed with twenty-eight generations of Hawaiian healing knowledge, and he made a short Ho’oponoponoHo’oponopono guided meditation. Find it here: Ho’oponopono.
As a student of ancient Hawaiian healing knowledge, I have learned to release all my past baggage and consistently release any baggage that comes up. I took this wisdom to heart, and I eat the seeds that are full of lessons and power instead of hiding them in my black bags. Instead of repeating patterns, I learned to compete, learn, and love the pattern so I can move forward in life feeling Pono. Pono can also mean right with self, right with others, and right with Mother Earth. So reach out to me if you want to release your black bags, complete old patterns, and bring the light back into your life so you can move forward on a new path feeling Pono.
