I can’t lose weight during the holidays…
How are the holidays different from any other month? You set a goal, and crush it! It’s called balance. You eat clean and healthy 80% of the time, and enjoy about 20% treats to maintain or stay on track with your health goals during the holiday season. You don’t have to have an all or nothing approach.
I don’t have time to workout…
Do you have 30 minutes? What can you sacrifice each day for 30 minutes to get a workout in? TV? Sleep? Scrolling Facebook? Look, I’m not asking you to drive 30 minutes somewhere and then workout for an hour, you can literally roll out of bed and press play!! 30 minutes is all it takes, 2% of your day!! You have time!
I don’t have a fancy home gym…
Whew… good thing you don’t need one. Just a couple of sets of dumbbells and a mat if you are fancy! There are a plethora of on-demand and video based workouts you can do right from the comfort of your living room.
I need wine…
ME TOOO!!!! Especially this time of year when remembering to move the Elf nightly. It’s ok to enjoy the things you love in moderation. So a glass or two through the week will not completely derail your health goals.
I’m not giving up on pizza night…
Me either! We have family pizza night every Friday night! I’m not saying to eat half the pie, but you can definitely enjoy a slice or two with the family and stay on track with your goals.
I need someone to push me…
Perfect!! That’s what I am here for! I am your lifelong Coach here to kick you in the pants when you need it, to hold you accountable, and also remind you that you are human and to practice balance!

I don’t want to give up carbs…
YOU DON’T HAVE TO!! In fact, you can still eat them, even the starchy carbs… bread, rice, pasta, etc. it’s always about portion control and balance!! Balance your carbs with a clean protein and healthy fat, plus aim to eat about 4-5 servings of vegetables per day.
I don’t have the money…
How much do you think it costs to get fit and healthy? There are 1000s of free workouts on YouTube. I bet if you compared how much you were spending on takeout versus cooking at home, you could most certainly afford to clean it up in the kitchen.
I have zero energy…
I get it… You do everything for everyone!! Me too! But I have found 3 things that give me TONS of energy daily … fitness, proper nutrition, and sleep! I can teach you how to maximize your day and get everything done, but still make time for yourself!
I’ll replace all of my favorites with lower calorie versions….
Here’s my take on this one. Only do it if you won’t be tempted to eat the real thing. Oftentimes we self-sabotage by making a “healthier” version and overeating it, or consuming both the healthier version and the original, thinking you aren’t overeating. I’d suggest enjoying the original version in moderation.
Bonus: I’ll gain the weight back…
Not a chance…. If you follow the simple system of 30-minutes of fitness, balanced nutrition, accountability, and proper rest, You may just get in the BEST shape of your life, you may just feel AMAZING, you may see DEFINITION like never before…. Seriously, what do you have to lose?
The holidays may be here but that doesn’t mean you put your health and fitness goals on the back burner! You can literally enjoy all things in moderation this holiday season and still get some AMAZING RESULTS!!
