Most of us are aware of the harmful effects of ongoing stress on the body. But, unless a doctor has told them that they have a stress-based health condition, many people tend to brush it off. What they fail to see is that what they believe to be “normal stress” is actually ongoing anxiety. And that anxiety may be taking years off of their lives.
Often, when I talk to people about their stress they say things like, “it’s not that bad, others have it worse.” While this is one type of coping mechanism, it is a mistake to minimize the effects of stress and anxiety on their health over time. Living with even moderate stress and anxiety over time is considered “chronic.” And, it is this chronic condition that leads to the two major causes of death in the world: Heart Disease and Stroke.

Let’s be honest; the shit has hit the fan.
There is no certain response to the Covid-19 Pandemic. People are scrambling to make tough choices in order to mitigate the storm and eventually lead us all back to a sense of balance. But, we can find this sense of balance within us by looking toward the teachings of yoga philosophy.

It’s estimated that over 1.2 trillion digital photos were taken in 2017, and, of those, only a tiny fraction were ever organized by the photographer. With increasing numbers of snapshots floating about on cloud drives and in phone memory, should we even bother with photo organizing? We think so!
Here are some things to consider while deciding whether or not to get your photos in order.

Part of keeping a healthy emotional mindset, for many, has been keeping our bodies and our looks up to our own personal level of basic care. Our skin, our weight, and our physical looks are still an important way for us to practice Self-Care.
